For Roseeuw, who returns to the Brosella stage a day later with opposite jazz orchestra Flat Earth Society, dance is not new. “In the 1990s, when Nykytanssi flourished here, we started Fukkeduk as a pioneer in collaboration with dancer and choreographer Koen Augustijsen. Later I started working as a solo musician with the dancers of Les Ballets C de la B. Drawing Basses also like to be flexible. We collaborated with Fedasil in our drawing concerts. In the Koksijde asylum center, we played for Ukrainians, Palestinians and Africans who fled the war zone. Thrill. Their drawings were very contradictory. And in Brosella we are working soon with reinforcement after many acoustic concerts. It opens new avenues. Yannick already brings his electric bass.
