Newton is the founder of classical mechanics

In the approximately 500-page work, Newton described, among other things, gravity and its three laws of motion (Newton’s laws). As a result, he is now known as the founder of classical mechanics.

First edition Principia, written by an Englishman in about two years, was published on July 5, 1687 by the Royal Society, the British Academy of Sciences. New versions were published in 1713 and 1726 with improvements and additions.
